Description

The Winters Holliday Tractor Parade which is presented by the Winters District Chamber of Commerce is a spectacular family friendly event. See 50+ tractors all decked out in their brightest lights and decorations roll down Main Street in Historic Downtown Winters.

But WE NEED YOUR HELP! 

It takes 70+ volunteers to make this event happen. The parade route is dark making it difficult for the tractor operators to see any pedestrians that may enter the parade route. 

Positions that need to be filled include: 

  • 4 Volunteers to follow the parade with a long pole 
  • 8 Volunteers to keep people on the correct side of barricades at 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Streets. 
  • 14 people to stand along the parade route to keep people from getting into the parade route. 
  • 10 Volunteers to help with various duties such as: 
    • Assisting event staff 
    • Assisting announcers/judges 
    • Assisting staff at the beginning and end of the parade

Time

Volunteer will meet at the Chamber of Commerce office/board room at 201 1st St. in Winters. Please meet 15 minutes prior to the 4pm start time to go over any last minute instructions. Thank you!
